Post How far up does your clutch engage?

Well I replaced my clutch with a SACH Sport clutch and now it begins to engage about 1/2 up, then and additional couple inches to be fully seated...it used to engage 1" off the floor boards...is this right?

I adjusted the clutch to the factory specs...
hmmmm

I'd guess that it is correct. When I went through this exercise (new clutch cable, horseshoe, pedal 'box rebuild) that is exactly what I noticed: such a difference from the prior "just off the floorboard" engagement. Now, with a new clutch and rebuilt trans, I am engaging very close to the floor. Mixed opinion, but I will go in this weekend to check adjustments and personally I do hope it starts engaging closer to what yours is.
