Qucik valve adjustment question
Can I adjust the #1 exhaust valve without draining the oil???
My wrench left me haning and I just want it done fast. I also want to accomplish this without a huge mess or having to pay for oil twice. Jack the drivers side up like a mother and work quick??? comments PLEASE. Thanks. |
You don't need to drain oil at all to adjust the valves.... you'll drip some, but it's a real small amount.

Just jack up the one side.
Let the oil gravitate to the other. Be safe and use jack stands. |
Be careful if you jack up one side only that you don't jack it up too high and your jack stand slides off the t-bar cover.
Just sayin. . . . |
I've got one of those trusty pelican jack adapters that fits in the rocker jack hole... that should do the trick. Looks like tomorrow nights project.
Thanks to all. |
