Seatbelt receptacles
I have the original seatbelt receptacles and new seatbelts in my 1974 911. The receptacles seem to hold the belt buckles OK, but are a little squeaky and stiff when plugging the belts in.
I see that the receptacles are NLA, so I am wondering if there is a way I can clean, oil and refurbish these parts to make them a little less clunky? Is it OK to just disassemble the parts, clean, lubricate and reassemble? Or are there aftermarket manufacturers who can sell me receptacles? Thanks so much! Ian |
