A crime commited on a 911 and it's all caught on film

PPG Concept Acrylic Urathene (single stage) being applied to a 911. It's a crime (well sort of) here in L.A. county but I did it any way.

More documentation of this horrific crime can be found here.

Actually it was a custom blend to match. Owners decision. It looks a bit like Viper but has a hint of blue in it and is washed out real well with white. It looks like two completely different colors depending on the light. If you saw the car under artificial light you'd swear it was a different car when you saw it outside in natural light.

Nothing wrong with Single Stage paint, you can wet sand and polish it. Some of the best finishes I've seen are single stage paints!

It's close to the Camaro but it's a solid color, non metallic.

Carbon fiber fenders with his own special twist in the headlamp dept. Google "Singer 911" to see more details of the h/l.

Looks good - I've painted 11 cars......Wheel wells, I'd either mask them off or paint them like the rest of the car.......Looks like "overspray" at this point????

Is that another Rob creation? I like it, I like it a lot.

Will it get the same sticker treatment, but in orange? Basically the reverse of his car?

Imron is a single stage, though clear is (was?) available and it can be used, though it is not required.
