Can I ask how you got it out? I've converted to EFI and it's just in the way. I have unscrewed all of the screws around the edges, but it did not come apart. I don't want to break it, but I would love to get it out of the airflow.

Besides, why would you want to ruin your airbox unnecessarily. Cheers, Joe |
Cause my airbox is already "ruined". I cut it up except for the throttle body to the manifolds. That metal thing takes up quite a bit of real estate inside and it's not connected to anything as my EFI takes care of cold start..

Box comes apart by removing the screws. There is a O ring for the seal but most have been glued or epoxied in. It does sit right in the middle of the air path. I'm cleaning and cutting the airbox for maybe a Blitz conversion, who knows.
