Front sway bar removal on 73 911
How much of a project is this? I need to replace the bushings (hearring some funny noise up there when at speed). Will the bar come out without moving the front shock? Does this involve an alignment afterwords?
I know all my questions will be answered if I just do it. But, I want to know what i am getting into before I start. Just got the girl back on the road and don't want to do anything too cmplicated right now. A picture of what's in there would be great (searched and could not find one). Thanks, Chris 73 911 E |

It's been many years since I did this but as I recall, it's pretty intuitive and easy. No removal of suspension parts except down links to the A arms. Removal/replacement of bar itself is easy--just unbolt the brackets in the wheel wells. Replacement of bushings won't affect alignment.
