Excellent "Excellence"?

In another post, GIBSON asks:
....What's the deal with Excellence? After buying all the issues since day one from the
newstand I finally decided to subscribe first of this year. I think 2 have arrived in
the mail, a month after they hit the newstand, the rest never showed up at all. I
must have a Porsche-hungry mailperson. Think I'll go back to the newstand
and just give up on the subscription....

I know how you feel, Bruce.
Here in Canada, Excellence arrives at the newsstand weeks before it does in my mailbox. But even at that, you guys in the States get it long before I do. So what's up? Is it Excellence, the Post Office, the phases of the moon???
BTW, Ross Publications is in Novato. Next time you're up that way on a drive to the wine country, why not drop-in on them for a "friendly" chat.

Doug, I'm going to stop in sometime or at least give them a call.
I'll let you know what I find out. I would not be surprised if
the magazine is printed and shipped from some location far from
Novato. They probably don't have a clue why there are mailing problems but I'm going to ask.

Doug,
It's because you live in Canada!!!!
And by the way, my 2.7 will run circles around your tired ass 3.0. I'm going to be in Montana in january so meet me there and we'll duke it out over putrid canadian swill.
By the way, I was in OOOOtawa recently and went to Barbarellas...very nice. I take back anything I've ever said about my northern bretheren. I'm out

I could tell right off the bat you're not a bad fellow, Dan.

If you're ever in the vicinity of this SCWDP stronghold, I'll treat you some good micro-brew.

After that, we can take your 2.7 to Rudy (my ace P-wrench) for a few thousand bux worth of time-serts.

Wayne, it's not the border that ain't so smooth, it's the Canuck Buck that's the killer.

Miracles of the USPS! My Excellence arrived today, and so did a Pelican order with the two most recent issues of911 & Porsche World inside!

Funny thing about the Brits and 'colours' ... a '72 911E Targa for sale that appears to be Signal Yellow (114) ... they call 'Sunrise Yellow!'
