Fuel smell in right turns

Hi guys!

I have a small problem with my 72 911 (rebuilt to SC).
If i have more than 1/2 full fuel tank it smells like fuel inside the car if i make a sharp right turn. I have looked for leaks, but cant find any.

Any idea's of what can cause this? Any who have experienced something like this?

Thanks

Arnfinn - Norway

One thing I didn't see mentioned in that thread that I had a problem with is the fuel level sender gasket. I had my tank out for cleaning and when I reinstalled the level sender, complete with new gasket, it leaked. A lot - enough that at the track I felt it splash on my feet! That was pretty scary. Anyway, pull up the carpet and have a look there for dampness. Easy fix - new gasket and, if you're like me, tons of fuel-resistant sealant along with it.

I had the same issue and the gasket under the gas cap was dried out and cracked.
