Proper gauges for 1970 911 T
I have looked through all sorts of postings and cannot find the definitive answer on which are the proper gauges in a 1970 911 T. HELP
Can someone with more experience tell which are the right ones? Do they use the single temp gauge with the oil and gen lights on each side or use the combo gauge? Same for the fuel, single or combo? Is the tach mechanical or electric? I believe that the speedo is mechanical. I have some guages with a silver pointed center cap and other gauges ( combos ) without. The sliver center cap gauges are all single gauge. Thanks, Rick |

Well, the 1970 T model used both
The standard gauge pack for the 1970 T included some simplified gauges with idiot lights to relay some info. Most 70 T's I've come across have the full gauge option with full gauges as found on the E & S with a T tach. This is shown in the owners manual as well - I'll take a picture tomorrow for you PS - Tach was electric ![]() AM
