Picture of Correct Position of Leaf Springs in sunroof
I need a picture of where the long leaf springs are supposed to go after repairing my roof. Do they extend below the pins or not? My roof does not want to open after repair.

Not sure what you're talking about exactly....there aren't any leaf springs in a sunroof. A pic or diagram might be helpful.

Below the pins. The pins are forced downward, forcing the sunroof dress panel into place, as the sunroof travels forward and the rear lifts up into position.

+1 below the pins. They wouldn't do anything if they weren't, and they help smooth the transition from raised to lowered (and vice versa) at the end of sunroof travel.

Still a bit confused since the pic doesn't show the spring on the pin. The spring should press the pin toward the roof, correct? ie goes between the headliner and the pin?)
