Sunroof Delete on my 3.8 Widebody Projekt Part 2
Continued
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...t/83e1d340.jpg Area cleaned up with a flapper wheel. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...t/5ee5a797.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...t/193786b2.jpg To be on the safe side I also migged a few small tacks where the panel meets the roof. Next I'll use USC's All Metal filler followed by Rage Extreme. More to come in the future. Deleting your sunroof seems daunting but it is much more doable after you've cleared all the old sunroof mechanism. Cheers |
Where is Part 1?
|
I think this is part one.
|
No this is not part 1... look down a few posts.

Mind sharing the cost of the sunroof plate shipped from England? It looks like it could be bonded to the steel using 3M panel glue also.
|
Gary the cost was $150 pounds. Yes, one could definitley bond the panel in.
|
Thanks Mike, that looks like a much better solution that using the oem panel..

A link to Chris_seven's Fenn Lane Motorsports who fabbed the sunroof filler panel.
