Help ID parts in my 84 3.2 engine

Hi guys.
can someone help me with IDing these?
i found loose and flopping around in the back, not a good thing..
where does it go and what does it do?? lol

sorry, screwed up adding pics. that cable goes to the canister looking item by the bonnet hinge ( sorry so tired just woke from a 15 hour flight)

oh ok thanks. i feel like i never saw it there before. it's just inches away from the belts and fan... wth??

The canister is the cruise control servo.

Yeah. That end should be connected to the throttle body.
