Broken part but I can't find it on host catalogue?
I must be inept....my o2 sensor connector (orange / brown plastic) is broken (see pic) but can't find a replacement...they still make these?
Do you think I can glue it fixed then still plug into it or is the signal too low.? Thanks, Graham http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1274758338.jpg |
My car does not have the o2 sensor but I found this thread..

I just replaced the crumbling connector with a bayonette connector from Radio Shack. Used some heat shrink tubing and called it good. I did wonder if the voltage was slightly off from this. The car runs very well so I think all is well.

Mine was broken also. I used a water tight speed connector. Then shrinkwrapped it. Working great.

I had the same problem, the PO had replaced the original connector with a spade connector, but also crimped the shield to the main wire. I failed emissions testing every year until I found the grounded O2 wire. After I fixed it the O2 works great but I have a slight miss at idle which opened a new can of worms.
