Is this an "S" version--Need Help with Serial Number!!!

Hello,

I finally got my 66 911 on the road today and I had the left front claiper lock up so bad I was running on 3 wheels going 25 MPH. Anyway I was about to order the rebuild kits for all 4 corners when I realized I am not sure whether it is a base model or "S". It came "S" combo gauges which I believe are orginal so it got me wondering??

Serial Number --303089

Please I need some help because I am ready to get caliper rebuild kits and new pads but I need to know for sure the model designation!!

Thanks For The Help,
Ron

Ron, looks like a '66 "normal". Check this page for more info.

Ron, If you are going to keep your 66 you probably ought to change your sig.

I would check the calipers, even if it is or is not an S someone could have changed the calipers. S has aluminum calipers check with a magnet, no stick = S calipers. It also has a 3.5" bolt spacing where the caliper mounts.
