Recaro Seat Mounting
So I finally received the Recaro Sports (90 days backorder) and installed them with Racaro rails. Look awesome and very comfortable. While they sit a bit lower than stock (good for helmet clearance but not too low) the bases seem too "flat" - the front of the base should be tilted further upwards to support the thights and better feel while seated.
Has anyone experienced this with aftermarket seats and what did you do?

The mounting adapter bracket that bolts to the chassis and then the sliders bolts to it has three seperate openings to raise or lower the back or front. I'm not sure with your set up what you used. If you have a more race oriented seat (one piece), the seating position can be pretty uncomfortable for anything else other then track driving.

89911 - seats are Recaro Sports - pull-out thigh support, adjustable lumbar, back adjust and tilt for rear seat access. I used the Recaro rails and bolted directly to brackets on the tub. Are you saying there some sort of spacers that allow vertical adjustment of seat base?
