york compressor

my york a/c comp. has just started to vibrate and make a clunk .it stops for an instant then restarts when the clutch is still engaged. the belt is tite the clutch actually slips.its an 82 sc with 67k on it but the a/c has been charged with r134 and working fine till now also the frt condensor blower quit a couple of weeks ago could this cause the prob.?it still blows cold but vibrates.is there oil in the bottom end of the york comp?if so what kind and how much?
