Personally I like the photo with the chunk of wood in front of the rear tire and the chick with a helmet.

Guess the E brake doesnt work so hot?

It cracks me up when people just make things up about thier car. Here is a recent one I found on Ebay, it was posted on the bottom of a listing.

Q:Hello, I have a 1987 930 non turbo Carrera Super Sport Convertible turbo bodied, will these fit my car please.
A: No as you have a g50 gearbox

The speedo is a bit of a red flag, Wasn't 1981 the year Germany switched to Imperial from metric just for S#*%s and giggles. The guy isn't lying, it is wider and lower than some cars.
I'm sure he got plenty of emails with a few questions about his description.

Funny stuff!

22K for that piece of ****? Man, step away from the crack pipe. Jeez, my '83 looks like a showroom piece compared to that, and I drive it nearly every day.

What's wrong with it? Looks to be not bad, certainly not a p.o. *****.

did you click the same link ?????? thats not a 22k car .........

but the bad part is some one will buy his "wide body" and then find out but that is why they say buyer beware ......... but if the seller knows that is still called fraud or at least misrepresentation ..................

"burst muffler"

If the bodyshop repaired the pass rear quarter, why no pics of what it looks like now?

Where did I get 22K? On the link provided, the splash page clearly listed 22K. As for its condition, could you effectively smog an SC with carbs in your state? Can't here. Would you say the interior reflects the usage you expect to see in a "low" milage 911? Not me. The exterior is almost a 50 footer. So, yeah, my subjective response from the pictures provided is it's a piece of . . . Euro gray market car, BFD.

Can't do carbs here, either, but many (most) places you can on a car that old.

Interior looks pretty good, except for the carpet by gas pedal.

How do you get '50 footer' from those pics.

Yeah, it's a gray market car, and it's not worth that much, but piece of *****. Nah.

That's what makes this hobby great; we all have our opinions and can discuss them without rancor (for the most part).

I exhanged a couple of messages to the seller with a link o this forum. After the response about his bodyshop telling him it's a widebody, he said thanks for the info and he is going to change the wording of the ad.
