Lamp Bucket Rust
 

I was going to seal my battery boxes w/ POR15 and decided to do the same to my lamp buckets. One was in great shape. The other was a bit of a nitemare. Any suggestions on how to repair this? The PO tried a quickie fix. Note the mississing tab in the lower right corner. I found this in the box of misc part he gave me.

Throughts anyone. Will POR 15 take care of it?

personally Id treat it with extend rust killer before painting over it with POR 15... But thats just me. They claim POR15 can go right over rust...
