I have used both Al Reed and Harvey Weidmen. Both of these guys are worth the wait. Nice folks, great work.

When he refinished some fuchs for me about 6 years ago, he said he had no interest in getting on a computer. He didn't have the time to spend on one.
I doubt he has an email. Call his shop and leave a msg if no answer.

I recall seeing on the early S reg recently that he or his wife/partner were having some health/family dramas and he was away from the shop a bit.

If you ever talked to Al Reed you would know he would never have an email, he's a character and a great guy to deal with

Al and his wife Diane are some of the nicest people you'll ever talk to. But they're very busy too. I've found that the best time to reach them is at 7am pacific time, before they get going for the day.

It took me several tries to get him. Once I did, it was hard to get off the phone. Great guy, great stories. Outstanding work!

Diane called me back today- She is coping with the chemo therapy and as such, some days she just puts in a few hours. So be patient- she really enjoys her work and appreciates everyone's patience
