1971 911E Options
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Does anyone have a list of available options for the 1971 911? For example, I know that "S" calipers could be specified on a "T" or "E" but I am looking to confirm this and also determine what else was available. I've checked in "Original Porsche 911" but there is no list for '71. Maybe someone has their original build sheet or a dealer handbook? Thanks in advance for any replies. John F. I found this at the 911 T site but I think it applies to E and S models, Options and Accessories. The difference is that an option on a T may be standard on the other models. Someone correct me if I am wrong

Not sure how much this helps, but here is the window sticker from a 72 S Targa:
Gotta love the $90 option for the recaro sport seats. The seats are worth about $2500+ in concours condition today.

AND...note on the sticker that the 5 speed was a $150 option! Yes, it's true...the standard gearbox was a four speed, though few came that way. Neat...the sticker. One thing missing when I bought my car. Gosh, wish the original owner had kept it.

There's a 71 exterior/interior color chart and window sticker on my webpage:
