Post idle hunt

Every time I rev a gear hard and then let it idle there comes the hunting( two or three times then it stables). If I rev normaly or not hard the idle stays stable.
Any clues on this?
Tks in advance...

Marcelo,
with your 74 2.7 CIS, I can imagine three things. First, check the decel valve behind the throttle body. Put a hose with a clamp on the top connection, suck to create a sufficient vacuum, and close the clamp. The air bypass between the side and the bottom connection should be open. Open the clamp, this should cut off the air bypass. Second, check if the plunger in the fuel distributor is sticky. Ignition on, engine off, take off the air filter and rise the airflow plate up to maximum and immediately release. (Don't flood your engine with fuel.) The plunger should come down to idle position in less than 2 seconds. If it is stuck halfway, you can easily lift the airflow plate again until it hits the bottom of the plunger. Third, the vacuum connection to the bottom of the warmup regulator to the throttle body may be clogged. If you "rev hard and then let it idle" the WUR should receive a stronger vacuum to lean out the mixture.

Hope this helps
