my car diesels
My new motor runs great till it warms up fully then it runs crappy then I sit let it idle 30 45 sec shut off and diesel. Ive cleaned and lubed the distributor vacumn doesent work. All new only 5 miles on motor. Still tring to figure it all out any suggestions...Thanks

This "dieseling" usually occurs as a result of (glowing) carbon build-up inside the combustion chamber. Pre-ignition.
But seeing as how you say your motor is "new", there shouldn't be any carbon at all. So, I'd double check your ignition timing with a strobe.

I put in euro 8.5 90mm pistons in with solex cams timing is set at 5* before tdc warm at idle th ecar has super unleaded in it. Anybody think of anything else???? Thanks Matt

Check your ignition, valve timing, injection timing and injectors. Also check if the engine isn´t flooded with fuel. Grüsse |
