Price check

What's a convertible 83 SC with a rebuilt WEVO kit inside 915, low mileage 3.6, body backdate to a 73 long hood, 16x7 and 8 Fuchs going for? Also has a custom roll bar, leather Recaros SRDs, Carrera sway bars and heavy T-Bars. Smog legal but needs heaters hooked up. Running with custom fit 993 HEs.

I have a chance to redeem my house in Santa Barbara now that the wife is moving out......so, the ride may go. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1275949423.jpg

Pic doesn't show the current CIBIEs on the hood. Body panels for the backdate are fiberglass.

Not nearly enough to make it worth all the trouble it seems you have gone to :)

(See "Cars we miss" thread....)

.....sorry for the completely non-helpful answer  If I were to throw out a guess as a recent shopper I wouldn't consider more than a max of $15k for if even though seems like it has lots of cool goodies......but I'm not an appraiser in the slightest.

I would say its more than 15 grand, I would be that getting 20 or so would not be all that difficult

You would get $20K if you break it up. But, as it is, I know I would not pay $20K for it.

trader220 06-08-2010 08:03 AM

Despite the limited market I would be surprised if you cant get 20

The majority of buyers are looking for originality and right now they can afford to be picky. Sweet ride you got there, I hope you can hang on to it.

Yeah....way less than I would wanna give it up for. I DO have a numbers matching and original 914/6.....zero miles on a trans and engine rebuild.
