shift knob crush washer
I've had my shift knob off a few times, and it's not holding on nice and tight. It's not coming off with every shift, but it turns and wobbles more than I'd like. Is there anything I can do to refresh the crush washer, or is it just time to buy a new one?

I just replaced mine, and it's not nearly as tight as the original, so unless yours is in bad shape, you may want to try building up a layer or 2 of tape under it. Mylar duct tape works well.
