When I got the car (83 SC), it had a Dino wheel and horn button (I since put a Porsche one).
It does not work at dead center but does as soon as I go left or right. Also, probably related if there was a screw-up when the change the steering wheel, the flasher lever does not return after doing a left or right turn. I'm thinking somewhere down the stack? Thanks J.J. ![]()

I found the ground connection on these horn button to be unreliable at best. Try a test by removing the entire horn button, connect a wire to the outer portion of the ring that see's continuity when the horn button is depressed. Run this wire to a good know ground source & try it out.
I fixed this problem on my car by connecting an additional wire to the button & grounded it to the wheel adapter. Horn works great now. |
