Best Interior Shop in Southern California
I need to redo the 1973 sport seats and want to find the best place in Southern California to do the work. I have been told of Auto Internation in San Diego, and other shops.
I am looking for concourse work. Michael |

Autos International www.autosintl.com is the best in the country in my opinion.
I had them redo my early leather sport seats as well as several of the interior panels last summer. Some pics here: http://www.nosubstitute.org/911e/interior Many of the Porsche parts sellers -- including Stoddard -- source their seat/upholstery materials and carpet kits from AA. They are not cheap, or super quick, but their work is impeccable. YMMV of course. Good luck, ------------------ Chris C. 73 914 2.0 70 911E Targa campbell.chris@gte.net [This message has been edited by campbellcj (edited 07-04-2001).] |

Autos International produced a great german cavas Cab top for me as well as a domestic black carpet set. Prices are good and the quality is great.

You might look at Tony Garcia in San Diego - info@autobahninteriors.com
They recovered a leather dash for me and I was very happy with it...

Since you're in OC, you may want to visit Pete Engel at Westminster Auto Upholstery (just Google him - he doesn't have a website). I saw pics of his work on the post below and then started seeing his name all over the place on other forums. I'm always more comfortable going to a shop where I can see their work before contracting anything.
I had $$ burning a hole in my pocket!! Check it out He recovered my 1987 Carrera's seats in the original German leather (no contrasting stitching as in the post above) and the fit and finish is outstanding.

Having dealt with Tong G on numerous occasions I can tell you he is a straight up hell of a nice guy that is also a truly fine craftsman, a winning combo.

After fixing a poor experience I had with one of his competitors, he's been on the top of my list for interior work. Tim |
