77S Original Smog Equipment?
What is the configuration for a CA 77 2.7? I'm assuming this car had thermal reactors but did it also have a smog pump? What about EGR system? (the car has an "EGR" light on the dash).
How about a 78 SC 3.0? I believe this config. had a cat as well as a smog pump but later SC's did away with the smog pump? Thinking about taking my CA BAR certified 3.2 out of the car for another project and replacing it with a 78 3.0. Just strategizing about how to get the resulting car smog legal in CA and need a reference for original smog equipment configuration. |

It has been a long-long time, but as I recall we had all of the above. The reactors came off asap........... Good luck, Gerry

TR, smog pump, EGR, lean CIS, and a stupid dizzy retard & advance replacing TR with those 3 into 1 tubes is good for heat but still leaves exhaust lousy

Just like your CA BAR certified 3.2 that is currently in your 77, the 3.0 will also need to be
BAR certified with all the same stock emissions it had in 78. |
