bodyshop in FLA for racecars

Does anyone know a Trust-Worthy body shop in South Florida? I'm asking on this board because I need someone who is experienced with installing quick release panels. Most shops I talk to never installed panels with Dsuz fasteners.

Need a place anywhere from South to Central FLA.

Thanks

Contact Gary Stratton in Florida at carsrus2@aol.com. If Gary can't help you he will know who can and do it the correct way. He has only been around porsche for 40+ years. I would give you his number, but I only have his cell: I don't give out personal cell numbers.
And a very honest guy!

Who ever you are considering should be able to refer you to previous clients and their cars , where they have installed dzus fastened panels before. Depending on the level of finish, you would be surprised on how many hours installing panels cleanly will take

This is not a job for an average body shop

Words of wisdom. Consider the forces on any panel and the fact that it is removable. You certainly don't want it coming off until you're in the paddock.

I think the 901 Shop in might do that kind of stuff.

As someone that spent considerable time working with my shop installing removable panels - its EXTREMELY time consuming, and difficult to get right, but in the end well worth the efforts.

They're not in Florida but in North Carolina. Zuffenhaus Race & Fab is up there in terms of this kind of stuff. If you want race finish, street finish or concours they can do it. And my 935K3 Replica is there to take a peek at if you want to check how they do things.

901 shop in your area - JB Racing and Gary Stratton in Central Florida (Maybe Redbone?) - Vortex Racing in Tampa can do them.

As Dave said - make sure you #1 take it to someone who has experience with installing - #2 get a quote before hand - it gets spendy in a hurry!

Thanks for all the replies. I try and reach out to some. However, I've always considered shops like 901, JB, Redbone to be more mechanical shops than bodyshops. I do know how hard the body panels are since I tried doing some of the work myself...

Redbone maintains some very nice race cars, that is why they are listed and can be trusted, Gary Stratton does some very nice work, he did my 914-6GT clone and built lots of very nice race cars, give him a call.. (407)421-1911
