early 912 color question
 

I have a very early 912, 1965 finished 6-1-65 # 350084. The color code is 51898 I got the certificate of analysis from Porsche and they say this is Golf blue and the paint is made by Lechler/Lesonal. the 912 registry says that Lechler color codes are 5 digit so that makes sense. I've read that in 65, Porsche 912, 911 and 356 could come in bali blue but golf blau (golf blue) didnt start until 66. Can anyone identify my color and then anyone have a formula?

That must have been a custom paint request, and very rare. This is the first instance of this code that I have heard of, but there are a lot of codes I know of that even the color name is not known. Lesonal has not been much help, but I do have their 800#. I'd love a photo of that badge.
