Has anyone dyed Vinyl seats from black to cork ?

I can't find any decent mid year non sport seats in cork with the basket weave inserts, but there seem to be lots of black. Has anyone tried dying Vinyl seats ?
I tried searching this topic, lots of good info on leather seat dying but not on Vinyl.

There is vinyl upholstery spray paint. I have used this and I would not recommend it on Porsche seats. At any rate I think going from black to a lighter color would be nearly impossible.

Yes, you cannot dye vinyl. Impervious.

I've done vinyl paint on trim pieces and even seatbacks with good results, even black to tan, but wear surfaces will not hold up.

Has to be painted. And repainted. And repainted....

Wear as in friction specifically or sun/heat as well? I ask because I'm considering dying my blue vinyl dash black.

Didn't have a UV problem with the painted stuff.

A friend did his whole interior, dash, doors, rear deck, etc. with SEM brand vinyl spray, the best he could find. It actually looks fantastic. You cannot tell it's been sprayed, nice satin finish.

The dash is amazing.

He did not do the seats, though, so I can't report on the SEM on seats.

SEM is usually available at auto paint suppliers.
