Question Questions Regaerding Brake Rotors???

Hello,

I am having some problems with my brakes and I am rebuilding all 4 so I naturally decided to have the rotors turned while I am at it. But I had just a few questions

by the way I have a 66 911 with a 2.7 and stock brakes/suspension or so I thought!!

My front rotors are the slotted type with 1 being 18mm and the other 19mm, After a bit of research I have learned that the slotted rotors appeared first on the 67 "S" so I know they are not origianl. My questions are:

1. How can you apply larger rotors without larger calipers?
The steel "M" calipers were made for a thinner rotor so I would think the pad would scrape without the brake pedal being applied!!

2. My rotors are too worn to be turned or so I am told so which rotors should I get?? Stock or the vented or something else??

3. My rear rotors are 9mm solid and one has a notch missing so I am going to have to replace, so how big of a rotor can I fit on the rears with the "M" caliper??

I have a Carrera 3.2 rear rotors and was wondering whether they are usable??

I wold really appreciate some inout because I know that slotted or drilled rotors decipate heat better and are therefore more effective in performance circumstances but what I need to know is can I use them and If so how think ??20mm??24mm??

Thanks For All Input,
Ron Dailey
