911SC increasing idle speed with temp

Can someone help with a couple of high idle issues on a 79 911SC?

The original problem was an increase in idle speed as the engine warmed up. The car starts fine when cold and idles around 1500 RPM for a few minutes and then settles down to around 1000 RPM. As you continue to drive, and the oil temperature goes up, there is a corresponding increase in idle speed. On hot days and long drives, the idle gets up to around 1800 RPM which makes shifting into 1st or reverse from a stop a major grinding event. Any suggestions?

A new recent issue is that the throttle seems to be sticking. When driving hard (uphill or hard acceleration), the engine speed will go up when you press the clutch between shifts (sort of like revving the engine in neutral). It doesn't seem to be a sticky pedal issue as the pedal springs back easily when the engine is off.

Any help would be appreciated!

There is a pair of bushings on the throttle console on top of the engine. They are nylon and wear out but are easily replaced. 901.423.253.00 . This is the part number.
If you remove the blower fan for the heat, you can look done on the console.
There is also a pair on the transmission but its a different number and the trans linkage doesnt fail as often as the engine console.
