Battery help, please...
My battery is dead. It sits in the smuggler's box, therefore is quite small. I've looked around for a replacement for it; it is an Interstate 12v. DCM0035 is the number on top of it, but it looks like the model has been discontinued by Interstate.
Anyone know of a comparable battery that is small and can fit in the smuggler's box? Thanks.

Do a search for "smugglers box" and "odyssey" as in odyssey battery.

Easiest option is get the basic measurements for the biggest battery that your smugglers box will take (I have mine there too - but don't recall what type or size it is). Then go to a standard auto shop and get a decent Ah battery. Then you can manage cost vs. size vs. performance according to your budget. I think it's always worth going for a slightly higher spec battery as I guess it lasts longer. Regular usage of the car is important - and if not, you can get one of the cheap battery maintenance units with a trickle charge to maintain the battery when you don't use the car.

odyssey, kinetik and stinger all make good small AGM batteries.
