Singer Porsche - Better in Person
Local PCA sponsored a German car show today and a Singer 911 showed up. It was the hit of the show and what a piece of art. Looks better in person than the pics I have seen. Thought I would share some pics ...

Coincidence, privately owned Singer in the "MotorSports Park" area of Radnor Hunt Concours d'Elegance today.
It garnered a lot of attention and it was worthy, no doubt. So were the 911 2.7 RS and 959 in the show. Good Porsche day. ![]() ![]()

There's a YouTube video where what's his name talks about the intake. Says it's a $500 part with $5000 of custom finish on it.

I was working at the Radnor Concors yesterday, and had the opportunity to spend some time visiting with the SInger pictured above. ALl I can say is WOW!! I generally don't care about cars that I will never afford, but the SInger is different. It really doesn't look all that fancy until you begin to study the details. It is an astounding piece of automotive artwork. The level of detail is excrutiating. Easily, the best car I have ever seen. To really get it, you have got to see one in person. Pictures can not begin to do this car justice.

Spot on. I excel at finding flaws in cars, but even I was stumped by this one. Every nut and bolt has received the upmost attention. It's simply a work of art.

That houndstooth pattern is just brilliant. I'm not sure I want it in MY car, but, wow. Just when you think they've done it all, they go and blow you away with some imaginative and over the top degree of difficulty detail.
