Question Beck Spyder Anyone?

I've been working the sales angle at home for 4 years now on a 550 replica. Does anyone have or has anyone had one of the Beck replicas? I've looked at one that (besides being cool as hell) looked extremely solid. I'm curious, though, as to what kinds of problems to expect and what people's real life experiences with the car might have been. I think my persistence is winning through (after all, marriage IS a war of attrition), and it'd sure be nice top park a Spyder next to the SC sometime next summer.

Thanks...

Do a search, Lee. There's a fellow Pelicanhead that posted images of his 550 rep a while back. It is a lovely little car!

Do a search for "James Dean", I believe the thread was titled something like "Is this a great picture or what".
Cheers,
Kyle.

If you saw the recent boxster ad, you saw this beck for the road shots:

Well it's not mine, the owner had me follow him to a 356 bull session. . .in his 356.

Thing to look out for; titling, insurance, shift linkages that don't work well (unless you want the built-in "you can't drive it" excuse.) and unsprung weight. . . wider is not always better.

Oh and look out for all the looks
