Under the covers....
...the valve covers that is.
Valve adjustment time for the Blue Bomber. It's good to see that after about 8000 miles I put on the car this year, there was no measurable change in the valve lash. And a check of the infamous head studs proved they are all, still in one piece. Now it's new gaskets and we're good to go!

Warren...HOOT! You know, they are all nice kids. Kind of a shame the SCWDP is doomed to fail, isn't it? I've offered their leader a drive in an early 911S. If others do the same? Yep, doomed to failure! (Sinister cackling heard in background here..) Jeeze..imagine what driving "black beauty" would do to poor Leland....his world would never remain the same...never..never. (more sinister cackling)
Edit after thought....can we forgive ourselves if we contribute to Leland's future delinquency? Ah heck, when he returns from a war, he's no longer a kid. No way, no how. We need feel no guilt. (more cackling)
