Need front fender... Any companies reproduce them?

Recently a buddy of mine decided to drive my 1980 911 into a tree (said he could drive a stick). Anyways, you can see how it ended up.

Now I need a new passenger side front fender. Does anyone know if there are companies that reproduce them? Or am I just going to have to find some on my own? I'm going to end up redoing everything on the car, I just need some old fenders in good condition or some new replicas. Thank you guys for the help.

Chris

I'm sorry, I forgot to specify that I wanted steel fenders. I know rennspeed makes some fiberglass ones. Does anyone have any say on those? Do the fit well? I'm starting a project where I'd like to put the car on a severe diet, would the fiberglass fenders be the way to go?

Thanks again

chris

steel fenders from another 9 should fit pretty easy. fiberglass always need some work to fit.

You need to decide on what you ultimately want to do. There are several companies that sell FG fenders and the quality varies. (Notice I said sell, because a lot fewer actually manufacture FG fenders than sell them)

When it comes to steel, most buy used fenders. You need to buy the fender from a reputable private seller or a reputable dismantler. Some searching here using the search function will reveal dozens of threads giving you prices and recommendations.

New steel reproductions are available, but the price is way more than a very nice used unit. Like as much as 10 times as much.

AFA the "diet" is concerned, many will tell you that saving weight at the front end only won't be all that beneficial. Losing the A/C and using a FG rear bumper brings the balance toward the front where it's needed. There's more, a lot more, but again you can search it out or wait for a bunch of opinion.

You'll always get that here.
