Headliner Bows...
Where can I find a set of headliner bows for my 73 911? Tweeks sells a set of rubber bow tips for my car, but does not sell the bows themselves.
Mine were missing from my car when I removed the old non original headliner. Bill

I noticed that Rocky Mountain Motorsports sells a bow kit for older VW beetles:
http://www.motorworks.com/aircooled/index.htm Do you think that these bows could be modified/cut to work on my 911? I think they could, but I would have to know the exact lenghts of each bow for my 911... Bill

I've always had good luck with Stoddard at 800-342-1414. They are in Ohio, which is 2 days UPS shipping time to you in VA. From the 72-73 parts book, it looks like you need 4 bows (cross struts). The PNs are as follows: 901.555.511.20 (2 required) 901.555.512.20 901.555.513.20 The PN for the rubber tips is 644.555.515.00 (8 required). The book also shows among the headliner parts "fastening clips" (12 required) at PN 999.591.336.01. Good luck.

Wayne,
I have a 1973 911 T with a sunroof. I assume that the terms "Headliner bow" and "Headliner Tension Wire" can be used interchangeably? I don't see a part number that will work with my car. Will another part number work? Bill
