Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1

Anyone running Dunlop Direzza's??? Fellow members saw a photo of my old Pirelli's and said I should change due to age.
Any opinions would be great. I see many of you use Fuzions.

Got them on my car and really like them. They stick well, ride well, do not make much noise and have a reasonable price tag. Before I had the Bridgestone SO3's and the Dunlop is a much better handling tire.

Fantastic tires. Good grip for backroads/autocross, and also work fine on wet roads too. A buddy of mine just got them for his '89 3.2, and he loves them too!

Agree with what everyone has said. Best tire I've ever had on my SC!

I love mine. I christened them at Pocono and am quite surprised at the performance. They didn't even squeal despite the fact that I deliberately did things like letting up in the turn, did some trail braking, jerked the steering wheel in a turn, etc. I was trying to find the limit, but I couldn't.

Getting ready to order my 2nd set of these. First set replaced Michelin Pilot Sports, and I found these Dunlops compared VERY well, even better in some ways, to the Michelins. Cannot beat 'em for the cost!

In case anyone didn't know the Direzza star spec has been the dominate tire in the Street Touring class in SCCA Solo II. That should say something right there.

Have not tried those, but I recently put Michelin Pilot Sports on my Targa 3.2, and I LOVE them. Very confidence building!

I almost bought them, but instead went with the tried and trusted Bridgestone Potenza's. They are great, nice upgrade from the Toyo Proxies, but they weren't bad either.

I don't know what attributes you value the most but you might consider looking at the survey results on the Tire Rack website

Very sticky, even when cold. Less harsh than equivalent tires of similar performance. Not too costly. Abundant--I needed a new rear and it was on the car in less than 24 hrs. Wear is good.
