Coupe des Alpes in France
Just curious. Is anybody participating "Coupe des Alpes" in Juin? Crossing 20 mountain passes in three days. I am already excited. see: www.rallystory.com
Would be nice to meet some Pelicaner at the rally. Regards, H.

Looks like fun. Post some pics if you get the chance. If I can get away I'm going to try to get a day at the Vernasca Hill climb:

Definitely post pictures and keep us posted on how it goes. It looks like a great trip. I've driven many of these roads in the past, but not in those kind of cars!

Thanks for the gorgeous pictures. That Alfa looks huge. From all of the press photos I expected the thing to be dainty, but in the context of "real" sports cars, it looks like a B-52.

SWEET! Thanks for posting the pics. It looks like a ton of fun. Maybe one day I'll be lucky enough to attend. I love Europe and go there regularly, but I usually only get to drive the sport wagons from various car rental companies. Hmmmm, maybe it's time to splurge on my next trip??? ;-)

Here is a picture of my Tuthill Carrera 3.0 RS (#150) at the top of one of the cols. Only problem we had was with the Kazz diff being too tight, especially with mineral oil. I have temporarily changed back to synthetic Castrol SAF-XJ but the real solution is to change round the locking cam so that it is 100% on overrun and only 50% on power. The way it is, there is a awful lot of grinding, banging and vibration at present on anything other than open corners.
