My 911S/912E ownd by '86 Buick Regal w/26" Rimz

Thawt yall wood NJoy tha clip of ma buddies '86 Buick Regal racin my 912E at Carolina Dragway. He sayin he beat me cause hiz rim bested my time, does that count?

that is the funniest $#!t I've seen in awhile. $2000 "rimz" on a $500 car, with $20 worth of crap Pep Boys graphic flames. Absolutely classic.

Call me white and middle aged but I'm confused. Please clarify:

1) Are the big wheels meant to be ironic or does someone believe they enhance performance?

2)About the scraper bikes...umm joke or cool? Granted I'd rather have a scraper bike than a Buick with clowny wheels, but only because of the practicality of the bike.

Like I said...I'm confused.

Big, shiny wheels are "ghetto fabulous" and it is funny that the stereotypical bad taste wheels/cars actually exist. In the south.
