H4 Install on 86
Hi Guys,
I have a bit of an odd question. I recieved my new H4's from our host, and some new fender seals. On the H4 assembly, particulary the screw that mounts at 6 oclock there is a black rubber cover over the screw. Is that rubber just to hold the screw in during shipping, or do I leave it on when installing the lights. I have hooked the top of the assembly to the fender but with the rubber on the mounting screw it is very difficult to get a tight fit all the way around the light. I was thinking if I remove the rubber on the screw it would fit better, but if it is needed I don't want to remove it. Thanks guys |

Nope, it's just there to keep the screw from being lost. You should throw the black rubber thing away.
