1979 911 SC, running 1974 Exhaust system

So I had a shop that specializes in air cooled Porsches fit a 1974 muffler and exhaust on my 79SC. It did help in performance noticably, then I had Meineke add a slightly larger polished tip. But now i still think I can do better.

I'd like a thicker exhaust sound when accelerating hard, but am worried that I could mness up back pressure?

With my '74 set-up what else can I do to help out the sound, and meybe free up just a bit more flow?

I'll get a picture of what I have in a little while.

You simply need a good sport muffler,......

Both the Monty & Dansk make more power than the OEM muffler you currently have.

If you're just after a good sound, you gut or partially gut the stock muffler.

I have a gutted Carrera muffler on my SC; sounds great.

Or add a second outlet (have to cut the valence to do it, tho).

Sound great especially with the top down.

Winter project is SSIs / M&K 2 In:2 Out with a stand by plug
