Shock replacement interval

I noticed that Wayne suggests (101) replacing shocks every 50 kmi. At 92 kmi, mine are original (boge) and still pass the simple bounce test (no oscillations).

Is there a more rigorous test that a DIYer can perform?

If not, how often do you replace yours?

Graham
