911 sc heather blower troubles
My motor blower - right in engine compartment- stopped to work, 25 amps fuse ko.
Automatic control switch is ok, changed 2 years ago using a good second hand part. Loacal Electric auto repair shop told me that was not possibile to fit the motor, so i was thinking to buy a new one, supplìed with black shell. Before i decided to dismantle the assembly. The work is not difficult, be careful to not damage the big black plastic inlet from motor vents and the two corrugated carton alluminium tubes . When dismantled i found an erratic bolt touching the circular air rotor, so rotation was slow. The rotor is fixed to motor shaff with a 13 mm nut, that was not easy to remove. After treatment with derusting oli, i made at the top af the shaft a cut so a flat screwdrriwer avoided rotation. The bolt was fixed with a new hand made square nut, so the circular flange was fixed to the clindrical case of the motor. Then i appliied some silicone black gasket to avoid loosing of square nuts. Reinstalled, works wery well. ![]() ![]()
