911 Turbo at showyourcar.com

This doesn't look like a 1988 to me. Chrome window frames, chrome headlamp rings, older type headlamp washer muzzles and short seat backrests?? It's more likely to be a 1977 or older I think.

Anyway give it a good vote because it's a Porsche after all

(Forget it I forgot to paste the link and now I lost it)

I believe this car is currently on ebay: Advertised as an '84 built on a '69 chasis.

Another EBay Beauty

5 blade fan/thermal reactor 2.7 with an aftermarket turbo on the eBay car. Talk about your time bombs- that things so dangerous someone should drive it around Watkins Glen a few times and then drop it on Osama. Cheaper than a daisy cutter and just as lethal.

What a brick!!!! Best as I can tell, that system is non-intercooled with super-long turbine-to-manifold piping. I wonder why there's two pipes? Some sort of return pipe? Hmmmmmmmm....

Rest of the car looks halfway decent though.

'76 to '77 would be my guess - particularly with the headlight wash nozzels.

Hey!! Thats MY car!! I did make a typo, it is a 1978, not 88. Never noticed that until you pointed that out. The window frames are not chrome, they are black, it looks that way in the photo for some reason. It is a factory Euro model which has the rare factory sport seat option which has high backs and side bolsters, the trim rings are stock, as are the washer nozzles. As noted, all these things are factory Euro Sport Option issue.
(except for the wheels, engine, exhaust, flairs, tail,. etc, etc, lol )

I knew I had seen the rattlesnake name somewhere, just couldn't remember exactly where I guess it's pretty brutal with a modified 3.6 engine... regarding the ebay car - it looks like a fraud. That spoiler was only on 74-77 Turbos. And the engine as you already pointed out is also completely wrong.

Imagine a first time buyer who settles for this car in an impulse buy and then comes to this board to show his new Porsche....
