Vibration noise post SSI and Dansk

Any thoughts on a tinny vibration noise that surfaced about a month after installing SSI and a new dansk 2 in one out. I have listened and tried to isolate it but so far no success. Doesnt sound like it coming from the muffler more a bit in front on the drivers side.

thanks for your thoughts

JS

someone told me they had to bend some metal when thye put theirs on. it was back where the muffler hit the rear valance panel i thought. perhaps the motor is moving under a load and some part of the muffler hits.

i think it was mca that had some problems.

only a wild guess

my SSI had to be pounded to clear the clutch helper spring

notice how the SSI seam had to be pushed up on the right side of the pic. A little more pounding after that was done

There is also a thin metal flange towards the rear of the left/driver's side SSI that was separated on mine (bought used that way), but wasn't close enough to anything to touch or vibrate against the heater box.

Wild guess???

I think you are right on. I'll have to watch for that as I got SSIs and B&K 2 In/2 Out.
