New Years Day Rally- So Cal area
We are holding a fun rally on New Years Day. Open to all enthusiasts with any type of car, this rally originates in North Hollywood , continues through the Santa Monica and Malibu roads and ends with a picnic at Tapia Park on Malibu Canyon. Over 300 cars attended last year. This year us sporty type (read heavy P car attendance) are doing our own extended version. Come join the fun. It'a free!

Or you can go to PCH and Topanga Canyon in Malibu for the New Years Day annual run. This is a once in a lifetime deal. Last year the line up was well over 500 car from Brass cars to Diablos. Many p-cars Showed And Jay Leno drove a Red Racing one seater. I lost count of how many Ferraris showed. The line of cars parked was about a half a miile long with many more in the parking lots. It is located in Malibu Take the 10 freeway west to PCH drive 4 miles to Topanga Canyon about 200 yards west of Topanga Canyon is THE REEL INN this is the spot, Show up about 7am. Steve

Actually, Steve, our first stop is at the Reel Inn between 9 am and 9:30 to collect our beach side and northern contingent friends. The group (that we were part of the last 3 years) you are referring to is starting from Pepperdine University at 10 am and charging $25 per car this year. They were not pleased with the 300 + cars we had last year!
So your choice- two rallys - one free and a little zippy, one you pay and parade. We already have Lamborghini Diablos, Ferraris,Mustangs, Vettes, Bentley, even a Model A and MG TC, and of course- close to 100 Porsches !! btw- doubtful that Leno will be there this year- he is still in Pakistan/ Afghanistan with the troops |
