68 coupe door frames questions

okay, ive heard that 68 911 and 912 door frames are 1 yr only aluminum frames. other years are chrome over brass. my questions are these :

are the rear quarter window frames also alum on 68 cars?

are other years quarter windows also alum or are they chrome over brass?

on 68 cars are the door handles also alum or are they also chrome over brass?

any other yrs door handles alum? tia for these burning questions.

im buying 68 frames for vent windows that open and since all front and rear glass trim is alum, i want it to match, thus the makeup questions on the quarter windows and handles. thx

AFIK, 1965-1967 are chrome over brass on all the window trim. 1968 and newer are aluminum.

1968 car door handles are heavy, so I'd say not aluminum. More like chromed pot metal casting. I don't believe the door handles were ever chrome over brass nor aluminum. But this is from memory.

The difference on 68 cars is not only that they are anodised aluminium, but also have an opening quarter-light window, whereas on later alu-framed cars the small triangular window is fixed. Door handles are chrome.
