Thumbs up When USA Meet France"..............

.............or "when American Porsche Owner come to see French Porsche owner in France"

All Begin two years ago, when i'm buying ma 1974 2.7 .

After a long restoration, i can finally drive my porsche (the first and i think the better ...... after a very long time to dream about on the magazine) and here i just fall in love for my beauty, so in love that i create my website the 2L7registry.

One year later we're near 100 members of lots of country and some from USA.

One of this member Bill (from Kelso (washington)) said one day that he came on France for Holiday with all his familly, and here i have just think "what a porsche US Owner can said to a French Porsche Owner "? The better way to make the verification is to organize a meeting.

So this Monday i have meet Bill, his familly and it was a big pleasure, we speak a long time about our common passion around a "barbecue" and we have forgotten the time.

If think our passion for Porsche is a very good think to meet people from another country and exchange about.

the "car park" this monday

a 3.2 and a "Jägermeister replica" from Belgium and we see may Froggy in the garage.

I make just a promise that the next time we organize the meeting on a week end and not on french holiday to have more persons and more beautiful porsche.

9 out of 10 Porsche owners drink Stella Artois. Coincidence? I think not!

France went to clear when they joined the ECC
So the only time you will see yellow is on vintage cars and most likely for events only

When I lived in Belgium stella was considered rather a junk/ordinary beer. same with jupilier. There are SOOOO many better brews from Belgium!

Si vous passer, dites HEY a des Ardennes pour moi.

Hi Ced' friendly regards

For Rwebb, just like TreCup said , in France we have abandoned yellow headlights since 1992. We put yellow headlights since 1936, to meet the French military who wanted to make the difference between the French vehicles and vehicles of other countries, but now we follow the European rules.

For Groesbek, I often see in the Ardennes my customers and I would do "bonjour" to you.

Like you said "stella was considered rather a ordinary beer. same with jupiler" and it's true, in ordinary Bier, we have jupiler, Kronenbourg, Stella.... and so whe have lot of very good bier in France and in Belgium, in "BLONDE, BLANCHE, BRUNE, AMBREE or TRIPLE" and what is better than a good Leffe after works !!

But never forget............that bier is not good for the body line !!!
